About Your Instructor

Mary Anna Creech is a former middle school math teacher and mom of four (ages preschool to pre-teen). She was homeschooled as a child in the early years of North Carolina homeschooling and has also attended private and public schools during her middle and high school years.

She was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina. She graduated from Campbell University. She taught 6th grade mathematics through the Teach Kentucky program in Louisville, Kentucky while completing graduate teaching courses at the University of Louisville.

As a homeschool mom, she fell in love with science, mostly due to her science loving oldest child who knew more about space at 5 years old than she did as an adult. She has experience homeschooling K-5th graders. She has also taught a kindergarten pod school.

When she’s not working with kids, she also loves reading, playing basketball and exploring nature.
